ECO372 Week 3 Learning Team Reflection

Week Three Reflection - Team A

This week’s reflection will be more about the roadblocks and obstacles the learning team has encountered and less about the individual summaries of our learning experiences.

Week three as been a challenging week to say the least as we had one classmate disappear (Brandi Hassell), one classmate in the hospital (Eleanor Pace), and one classmate not participate (Georgia Hill has only checked in one-time this week).  The team can give Eleanor a pass because do not have much control over when or how we get sick, but in good conscious there is no excuse for Brandi or Georgia.  Brandi was our team coordinator.  She was the one who was supposed oversee the team leader to ensure he or she submitted learning team assignments to the Center for Writing Excellence for proofing and plagiarism checks as well as ensuring everyone on the team had a say on the final draft before it was submitted for grading. No one asked her to do it she volunteered! For her to leave the team high and dry without so much as a “bye” so we would know we needed a new coordinator is unacceptable. Truth be told, as a team, we were already struggling with our identity and who was going to lead.  In fact, things started off bad the first week we were together as a team with Eleanor and Georgia having a back and forth about sharing the team leader responsibilities???
